Suzanne Saad is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) as the philosophy and findings of the field of positive psychology resonates with the breathe:HR approach. Of particular relevance is its exploration of human strengths and virtues as well as wellbeing-enhancing interventions that foster engagement and meaning in life.
What?
Educate children and adults about "what makes us happy?" based on key scientific findings of ghe field of Positive Psychology. Specifically, the findings of Sonja Lyubomirsky regarding "intentional activities" to increase happiness - inspired by her book "The How of Happiness".

How?
Create a playground (The High Field) that serves as a tangible metaphor of the key intentional activities of happy people. For example, the playground may have a trampoline that symbolises optimism for the future, or a hammock that symbolises savouring the present moment or a sea-saw and merry-go-round that symbolise the joy of nurturing relationships with others.
The intended location of the proposed playground is at a rural estate in Sutton Forest NSW called “Highfield”, hence the name of the project. By extension, the playground itself will be called “The High Field” as it will be a place that enlivens, inspires and enthuses individuals to experience a natural high.
Why?
Ultimately, The High Field will encourage greater happiness in those who visit as Positive Psychology has found that happiness can be enhanced by certain intentional activities and happiness enhancement is teachable. Most importantly happiness has genuine positive benefits to ones body mind and spirit.
The playground will allow children and adults to discover and embody the scientific findings of Positive Psychology in an edu-taining way. (It will be an accessible and memorable experience therefore hopefully the insights will be transferable into their everyday lives).
